Stated in the family’s press release, Mr. Hayford was selected through the customary lineage as the rightful successor to the Nkonyahene title.
However, he has not yet undergone the traditional rites or formal installation required for the role. The family emphasized that their last communication with Mr. Hayford was in 2023, when he reportedly traveled to Europe. Since then, efforts to contact him have been unsuccessful.
With his whereabouts unknown and his absence stalling the enstoolment process, the family is growing incrasingly concerned and they are appealing to the general public, both home and abroad, to assit with any credible information that could help trace his current location.

PUBLIC NOTICE: SEARCH FOR NKOYAHENE DESIGNATE – BISMARK HAYFORD
The Family Head of the Appiadu Family in Kumasi, Ashanti Region of Ghana — Chief Ampadu — is officially appealing to the public for information on the whereabouts of Bismark Hayford, the nominated Nkoyahene (Sub-Chief) of the Appiadu Family.
Mr. Bismark Hayford is next in line to be enstooled as the Nkoyahene but has not yet undergone the traditional rites or formal installation. The last known contact with him dates back to 2023, when he reportedly traveled to Europe.
Anyone with credible information regarding the current location or status of Bismark Hayford is kindly requested to contact the appointed representatives of the Appiadu Family.
