Ablekuma North Constituency parliamentary rerun on Friday, 11, 2025 has been disrupted with violence as macho men invade polling centres.
Reports suggest that unidentified macho men stormed St. Peter’s polling centre, bringing the election process to a halt after creating a chaotic environment for voters.
Nana Akua Afriyie, the New Patriotic Party’s candidate, is seen in a video being assaulted, as reported by Jude Duncan of Channel One News.
In another video, the former Fisheries Minister, Hawa Koomson, was also assaulted by the unknown macho men who had stormed the polling station.
Grabevine reports suggested that the men arrived in a coordinated manner, causing panic among voters and electoral officials.
Their presence and demeanour at the polling centres led to confusion and a temporary halt in the voting process as security personnel moved in to restore order.
