Nana Agradaa Jailed 15 years With Hard Labour – Details
On Thursday, July 3, 2025, the Accra Circuit Court sentenced Patricia Asiedua, commonly known as Nana Agradaa, the founder and leader of Heaven Way Chompion Ministries International Church, to 15 years in prison with hard labor.
The sentence follows her conviction for Charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretences.
She was found guilty of convincing victims through a 2022 televised broadcast, in which she falsely claimed to possess spiritual powers to double money.

This led several individuals to part with large sums of money in hopes of miraculous financial returns, but none were ever fulfilled.
The court ruling indicates an important step in the battle against fraudulent spiritual schemes and deceptive religious practices.
Before her jail sentence, the court ordered a mandatory pregnancy test, in line with judicial procedure, which confirmed she was not pregnant, giving way for sentencing to proceed.
Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Akradaa, appeared before the court, presided over by Her Honour Evelyn Asamoah.
