Liverpool FC star, Diogo Jota, has died in a car accident on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in a gory vehicular accident. The Portugal international and his brother, Andre Silva, were both killed in the accident.
Reports state that the accident happened at around 12.30 am local time on the A-52 motorway in the municipality of Cernadilla, Zamora, Spain.
The police, after investigating the accident scene, detailed that the car Diogo and his brother Andre were travelling in (Lamborghini) left the road and caught fire after a tire burst while overtaking.

Diogo Jota married his long-time girlfriend, Rute Cardosoon June 22, 2025, just ten days before his tragic death. He left behind three children.
